At A Writer for Writing’s Sake, we believe every writer deserves a stage — whether you're seasoned or just starting out.

This space was created for expression, connection, and the simple, powerful act of writing for writing’s sake. We’re excited to read your poems and possibly feature them on our blog and social platforms.

📝 What We’re Looking For

We welcome all forms of poetry — free verse, spoken word, haiku, experimental, emotional, reflective. All we ask is that it’s authentic and original.

Whether it’s a piece about love, grief, identity, resistance, nature, or your random Tuesday thoughts — if it means something to you, we’d love to read it.

🔍 Submission Guidelines

Please read carefully before submitting:

  • 📌 1 poem per submission

  • 📏 Max 40 lines

  • 📅 No submission deadlines — we review poems on a rolling basis

  • 🧠 Your poem must be original and written by you

  • 🖼️ Optional: Submit a short intro or reflection about your poem (100–150 words)

  • ✨ We feature selected poems weekly and give credit to all contributors

📬 What Happens After You Submit?

  • You’ll receive an acknowledgment email within 48 hours

  • If selected, your poem will be featured on our blog and possibly on our social platforms

  • We’ll tag/credit you and may reach out for a short feature or interview

  • If not selected this time, you’re welcome to try again — this is a safe and growing space
